A-frame is a web framework used to build virtual reality experiences.
In this workshop students will learn the fundamentals of HTML and CSS through building an interactive world they can literally step inside. The students will learn to use Google cardboard to create a virtual reality experience.
Half Day: Students will spend the first half of the day learning the basics of HTML and CSS to create their interactive world. Half day participants are released at 1:30 p.m..Please make arrangements to for student pick up.
Full Day: After a morning of learning the classroom will be transformed into an arcade and gaming lounge. The students can relax and enjoy an interactive gaming experience with modern and retro game consoles as well as organized game play.
Full day participants are released at 4:00 p.m.. Please make arrangements to for student pick up.
Light Snacks provided:
Lunch is not included for either half day or full day but light snacks will be provided throughout the day. ( snacks may include chips, fruit, water, coffee, tea, fruit juice or soda ). Please inform the coordinators of any food allergies.
Late pick up for minors:
The T.A.G. program ends at 12:30 p.m. for half day participants and 4:00 PM for full day participants, and we ask that all children be picked up by that time. Since staff have evening responsibilities and are not expected to remain after 4:00 PM, a fee of $10 will be assessed for each five (5) minutes after 4:00 p.m. a parent is late (e.g., 4:06 arrival will result in a $20 fee). Half day participants who are not picked up will be charged the full day fee plus any charges incurred after 4 p.m.
