Success
at T.A.G
At T.A.G Labs, success is defined by empowering students to develop the skills, confidence, and creativity needed to excel in tech, programming, and design. We measure success through the real-world impact of our education—whether that’s through hands-on projects, career readiness, or meaningful mentorship. Our goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students not only master technical skills but also gain the practical experience and problem-solving abilities that make them leaders in the tech industry. Success is seeing our students grow, thrive, and contribute to the future of technology.

Track Record of Success
Summer Programs
Recipient of the Learn 24 Grant
In partnership with our grantee, we created a dynamic summer program for underrepresented youth. This initiative focused on teaching coding while introducing students to video game development and graphic design. Designed for 4th to 8th graders, the program was a resounding success, prompting us to move to a larger space and acquire additional computers to accommodate more aspiring young creators.
In-school Enrichment Programs
DC Arts and Humanities Spark Grant Recipient
We are proud to have been awarded the DC Arts and Humanities Spark Grant, which allowed us to launch an innovative robotics program that beautifully illustrates the intersection of art and technology. This engaging initiative significantly boosted student involvement, with participation in our classes increasing by 70% during the grant period. Through this program, we empower students to explore creativity and innovation in a whole new way!
Afterschool Programs
21st Century Grant Afterschool Programs
In collaboration with After School All Stars, we proudly received a four-year grant to implement after-school enrichment programs at ten targeted middle schools in underserved communities. Our innovative, tech-focused program boosted student engagement and attendance, leading to the launch of Career and Technical Education (CTE) and four-year Computer Science programs at IDEA PCS and E.L. Haynes PCS in Washington, DC.
